Dylan turns 4mths today

Dylan's 4mth birthday is today! He has grown so much and I am so happy to be a mother to him.
Tomorrow will be his 4mth wellness check at the Pediatrician at we are excited to see how much he's grown in weight and height. He's been on rice cereal in the bottle since 3 weeks old (he spits up A LOT) and we started spoon cereal 2 weeks ago. Dylan is doing great and we can't wait until the pediatrician gives up the red light on fruits and veggies!

This is our one and only child (I'm turning 40 yrs next yr) and it took us a long time decide we wanted a baby. I'm so glad we did! I can't imagine life without him now.

My husband and I have been married since 2001 so we waited 9 years (we've been together since 1995). But as you stated, we are very thankful Dylan is a happy, healthy child.

I had the BEST pregnancy ever. I never got sick, never had pains, never had cravings, nothing (just a bit uncomfortable sleeping towards the end). My husband said I was a happy momma-to-be.

Pediatrician said he could move on to veggies and fruits and he has so far loved green beans and peas.

Comment by julie watkins on November 21, 2009 at 3:49pm: congrats!!! i know what you mean my husband and i waited until we were in our 5th year of marriage before we finally decided to have a child and Sarah is now six years old and we love every minute w/her :) just wish sometimes we hadn't waited so long b/c i am 41 years old and so is my husband. she is healthy and happy and thats what we are thankful for :) good luck w/dr visit.
