NEW!! CHRISTMAS TRAIN & LIGHT SPECTACULAR

The Museum puts on a holiday glow for evening viewing and attractions.  A treat for the eyes & ears, with coordinated light and sound displays, more than 11,000 twinkling lights, holiday animations and seasonal features on the layouts, hot cider, and more!  NOTE HOURS: Fridays in December (2,9,16,23) from 6-9 pm and Saturdays (3,10,17) from 7:30-9:30 pm.  Only $4 per person, under age 2 FREE.

Event: The Dance Element Presents "The Velveteen Rabbit" in the Cape Fear Dance Festival at Thalian Hall Center for Performing Arts, Sun, Apr 27 2:00p

The Velveteen Rabbit is an original show created by The Dance Element's Director, Ashley Barnes. This unique dance adaptation of the classic children's book, features incredible hand made costumes, and innovative contemporary ballet choreography set to music composed by George Winston, with a narration by Meryl Streep. A strong cast of 44 area children will perform this delightful show as a portion of the "Cape Fear Dance Festival" hosted by the Wilmington Ballet Company, Sunday April 27th at Thalian Hall, in Wilmington NC, at 2:00 & 4:30 pm. "Ashley's costumes rival anything short of Broadway!" - Dan Hagin, Landfall Living Magazine The Velveteen Rabbit will excite audience members of all ages. Reserve your tickets today! A free community event that will offer families the opportunity to participate in active play and educational opportunities designed to improve health and wellness. Activities include a fun family run, sport stations, animal rescue booths, healthy exhibitors, a farmer's market, prizes and giveaways.

Event: Easter Celebration at Veteran's Park Baseball Fields at Veteran Park Little League Fields, Sat, Apr 19 4:00p

Easter is a very special holiday to us at Halo Sports and Impact Church. That is why we want to share it with you. We have planned an afternoon of family fun for everyone to enjoy. The afternoon's activities will include: Easter Egg Hunts (for ages 0-10 yrs old), dodgeball, Slaughterball (like baseball with a volleyball), bouncey houses and a big obstacle course, and outdoor lasertag! It's gonna be fun for the whole family!!!! Come and play as long as you want. Oh, and don't forget the food! There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers for the whole family (for as long as they last). So bring a blanket or somechairs and head out to Veteran's Ballpark Next Saturday, April 19th starting at 4pm. Best part is it's all Free! All we need you to do is register here online so we can get a head count in preparation for you and your family. See you all Saturday and be sure to invite your friends!
