NEW!! CHRISTMAS TRAIN & LIGHT SPECTACULAR

The Museum puts on a holiday glow for evening viewing and attractions.  A treat for the eyes & ears, with coordinated light and sound displays, more than 11,000 twinkling lights, holiday animations and seasonal features on the layouts, hot cider, and more!  NOTE HOURS: Fridays in December (2,9,16,23) from 6-9 pm and Saturdays (3,10,17) from 7:30-9:30 pm.  Only $4 per person, under age 2 FREE.

Event: Cape Fear Model Railroad Society at American Legion Post 10, Sat, Jan 28 10:00a

15th Annual Model Railroad Show and Sale. "O", "H/O","G" and "N" Scale Operating Train Layouts and free Clinics by Tom Staley. 1$ Raffle tickets will be sold for a LGB "G" Scale train set($479 value) and a Lionel "O" Scale Pennsylvania Flyer set($229 value).

More than 50 vendors will be on hand Saturday and Sunday selling a wide variety of garden and landscape products and services, with a slate of expert speakers presenting lectures and interactive demonstrations on the main floor. This year’s event also features a food concession and dining area in the lobby, as well as children’s gardening activities in a heated tent in the courtyard. All proceeds benefit the New Hanover County Arboretum and its programs.

October 30, 2012 Time: 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm $5 per person (including adults). Children 2 & under are free. Bring your little ghouls and goblins to the Battleship to go trick-or-treating! Fun games, activities, henna tattoos, & storytelling is all part of the Halloween fun. Batty Battleship is perfect for the little ones and families! Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Bring your camera!
